I`m almost out of FPII and love it. I`ve been itching to try 85rd but want to ask if they both finish equally? I`ve done lots of searching and reading but got tired of going through endless threads so I thought I`d make my own :chuckle:

This will be mainly used on my 07` Black Pathfinder for light clean up that I`ve had good luck with FPII being able to do. I`m also considering Meg`s 205 for its versatility and being a final polish. From what I`ve read 205 doesn`t seem to always finish like a fine finishing polish can like FPII.

What`s the consensus on FPII vs 85rd vs 205 etc?

Thanks for such a great forum to support my rediculous habit!

Nobody cares to share experiences with 85rd compared to FPII? 205?

I like PO85RD .... It finishes down real nicely. FPII and 205 are excellant products also. You really can`t go wrong with any of these.

I have used and love FPII, but have not used 85rd. From what I have read , if you plan to work on cars like Mercedes which has the hard ceramiclear type clearcoats 85rd would be the better choice. They both finish down very close to the same I have heard.
