For those of you who have melted and mixed waxes, etc, if a wax that has non-abrasive "cleaners" is melted, would the heat cause the cleaners to evaporate during the melting process? Or would the cleaners still be the same as before. I`ve melted and mixed waxes before, particularly when consolidating any older cheaper waxes, that I might have lying around into one can. After joining this forum and learning more about a lot of the OTC LSPs I used to use in the past, I started to wonder how the cleaners in those waxes are effected by the heat, since most OTC waxes have cleaning properties. These days I mostly use Collinite products as my favorite brand, but I still use the cheaper LSPs on my wife`s car, lol. May be a stupid question, but it just popped in my head so I figured I`d ask the pros.
