Did another set of lights tonight, fiance`s sister so it was a free bee, but I hope to get paid in other ways ;)....

The only thing I used from the 3m kit was 2 pieces of 800 grit paper on their holder. After that I went to my wet sandpaper from Meg`s. 1500-2000-2500-3000. I finished up with Meg`s mirror glaze #10 to polish out the headlight once I was done wetsanding :D

This is what I was dealing with...

Finished up with the polish, then I sealed them with Opti-seal... Although not perfect at least their a huge improvent and FREE :o

Nice! I just did the headlights and tails on my mom`s 2002 Altima yesterday (no pics), and they came out excellent. Here`s what I used:

PC 7424

Adam`s 4" orange pad w/ Meg`s Ultimate Compound

Adam`s 4" white pad w/ Meg`s M205

I wish just compund would have taken these back but they were so bad I had to wetsand :(

Before you guys get going...Paid from the Fiance ;) NOT the SISTER :D

Kill joy.

Looks like it will take a bit more than wet sanding on those fenders!

:D The fender and the bumper marks came off...I tried clay, no go...I used some tarminator and "scrubbed" with a MF and they dissappeared...;) Just some scuff marks. :grinno: If I got paid to do her car 20+ hours easily....But I know the Fiance won`t "pay" that much ;)
