Going to pickup my new 2010 Mazda3 in the morning and was wondering if anyone has worked on the paint. Is the clearcoat hard or soft?

Mine is hard, most of Mazda`s are in the hard side.

congrats on the purchase of a new ride. Might have to break out some 105 to help aid the dealer marks.

id try to do my correction with just 205, and leave out the 105 all together if possible... i dont know about the newest ones. but i remember seeing on here several times, that mazdas, especially the mazda 3`s have very thin paint... did you tell the dealer not to prep the car? or are they going to do their thing with it?

Dealer only did a quick wash and nothing else. Paint looks good with minimium swirls.

Maybe get some 3M protection for the hood? I`ve read a lot on other forums that new Mazda 3`s chip very easily because they use environmentally friendlier paint now.

Congrats on the new car, I`m looking at them for my daughter - damn, sure grow up fast! They are a top pick in safety, but you probably knew that. Post some pics if you get the chance.
