Is there anything one can use to remove wax in small paint chips. The spots now stick out like a sore thumb as the wax is white and the car is black.

Thx

Try an IPA (http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-detailing/99979-acronym-decoder-complete-11-26-07-a.html) wipe and then consider using a different finish wax/sealent. Soak the chips really well with the IPA, but then you will definately need to re-wax. To avoid a Re-was, may try a detail brush or small paint brush.

I had this on a dark green car until I switched to NXT 2.0 liquid. No problem with that. Last time I did the car I used JW`s Acrylic Prime and followed with AJT, topped with Carnauba Jett. White spots cannot appear with that mix.

(BTW - the link I included is the key to interpretation here at Autopia)

I use IPA with a q-tip, works great.
