Ordered these several weeks ago on the suggestion of members Flashtime, David Fermani and bufferbarry and they are all these guys said they are.

Thanks, gentlemen.

I use them almost daily and much prefer them to the LC PFW`s via rotary or forced rotation machine.

They finish down GREAT and don`t shed.

Also, the CS at Micro-Surface was very good and the shipping time was great.

Highly recommended.

Thanks again, guys!

I just tried some and like them a lot too.

The one advantage of the PFW pads is the hole for the centering post.

and the PFW last longer in my experience...I just threw out my microsurface pads...only got 5 uses out of them while the PFW keep going even after 10 cars a piece!

The Micro-Surface Black Lambswool is the best wool pad i`ve tried so far.

All my "correction" jobs start with 2000 grit and a quality wool pad is critical.

I`ve tried many over the years and this MSBL (made that up just now!) stands

out from all the rest.

I normally don`t knock products but the PFW pads are at the bottom from

all the wool pads i`ve tried. If the idea of a wool pad is for cutting with

a heavy compound then the PFW`s are a complete waste. They don`t cut

nor last at all. Just because LC makes superior foam pads (which i love)

that doesn`t mean they make great wool pads; they don`t.

Remember, this is just my own experience so don`t get offended/upset

over nothing. If your findings are different than that`s what it is.

I too have really come to like the Black wool pads, but I feel both the black and purple wool has it`s place in my collection. I have to be really committed to 3-4 polishing steps to get out the black pads though where that`s not necessarily the case with the purple. They`re my go-to for spot fixes now though.

My only complaint about the black wool pads is I can`t machine wash them like I do the purple wool. The glue on the velcro tends to come loose and clump up when you machine wash the black wool pads.

They`re very easy to clean by hand; just hose off, squeeze and spin dry.

And add a bit of dawn too and work it in. Simple.

I`ve found them to finish down quite well, even eliminating a step more often than not.

Goes great with a W66 backing plate. Runs a bit cooler too.

I`ve been using Micro Surfaces products for almost 15 years and absolutely love their stuff. One of their Sales guys noticed my detail shop in Metro Detroit one day when he was calling on 1 of the Big 3 car manufacturers and stopped in to give me a bunch of pads & sandpaper samples. I`ve been hooked ever since. You guys should try their sandpaper too. I try to use their 4000 grit on every detail. Here`s a view showing the different nap lenghts:
