Sure, that`s the same idea as this: Ultima Elastrofoam Paint Cleaning System (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/ult-3200-3322.html)

I saw that Ultima stuff in action at Detailfest. From what the rep told me, it`s basically clay, just you can drop it without worrying about it. It didn`t seem to be very aggressive, which i think was the reason why it was ok to drop.

There not bad, I used one a year or two back, maybe they have been updated but the one I used torn at spots easy. that was a while back!

Same device, has not been updated.

They work very well as long as the temp is below 80 degrees or so. Above that they tend to deposit a bit of the rubber material on your paint. Not difficult to remove, just a PITA.

I LOVE this sponge. I use it every day, but it`s very aggressive. It`s so aggressive that it actually shaves the heads of the orangepeel on the paint. You can`t use this if you are only waxing the car. It`s really fast, and great to use when you`re polishing the car.

Erasing shine, one wipe and a time!

Can it be that hard to think of better names!

WTF??? They said in the ad that you don`t need lube, just water - yikes! And that it retails for 25 dollars a piece? 9.99 if you get it at the right place...This reminds me of why I abhor eBay.
