Hi, I am new to the forum and somewhat new to detailing. I have read several posts about Meguiars Mirrow Glaze #16 Professional Wax and I thought I would try it on my personal car before using it on a customer`s car. I bought a tin on eBay and since I haven’t used this wax before I have a couple of questions.

When I opened the tin the constancy of the wax was the consistency of Elmer’s School paste glue; not the hard paste I was expecting to see and the color was a pale blue. For those of you that have used this wax is this the normal color and consistency?

Thank`s in advance for your reply.

That is the normal color of it, alot of people including myself who got them from ebay had tins come in that were in a pudding like state this is because of the summer heat melting the wax through travel. You could put the tin in a pot of hot water mix the wax till all liquid and then let it cool for about 24-48 hrs and it will turn into a solid paste again.

Definitely use the double boiler I let mine set for a few days in the basement and it worked amazing.
