....you guys remember that `auction` Dwayne had last week about 5 jars of P21S CW with small cracks on the exterior shell? Here they are http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/g/blobfir.gif

I`m sure that P21S is a great wax, but it is still just wax, right? The durability is still subject to weather, environment, etc. Why not just use a much longer lasting polymer and skip the plain wax?

Be gentle in your replies...I`m still new at this...:D

Looks like you`re stocked up on paste wax for a while! That P21s is great stuff. One of my favorites....will always have a spot in my kit.

You still want to use a sealant or something underneath the wax. The P21S just makes the car LOOK so much better. A sealant that is more durable will protect the car and last longer, but a good carnauba wax gives the car that sexy glow that everybody loves so much. P21S is one of the best carnauba waxes I`ve ever used or heard about anyone using. Everybody who has used it sings the praise of P21S for the rest of forever.

So how often does one repeat the polymer process and how often for the wax? What would it do with my UPP application? Many folks sing the praise of UPP and EX as they stand alone.

If you top your UPP with a wax, you will need to remove that wax before you can apply more UPP. As far as topping UPP with a carnauba, I did the S100 over my AIO/UPP treatment and really didn`t think it was worth not being able to apply more UPP whenever I wanted. Try one area and see how much difference it makes. Maybe for you, it will be the way to go. By doing only one area, you won`t have much wax to remove to go back to the straight UPP.
Eveyone has a different idea so just go with what seems to work for you.:)

Singing the praise of UPP is like singing the praise of a Porsche. A Porsche is great, but a twin turbo Porsche is better. That is what UPP topped with P21S is. Vvvvaaroooooooooooommmm!!!

Let`s say this is the case. What would you use to remove only the wax and not the polymer? Just curious...

By the way, the P21S is the ultimate wax in my opinion. It just `glows`... Congrats, Jose! :)

use something like AIO or UPC that will remove the wax and prep the surface for UPP.
