This car was detailed right after delivery at my old shop FERMANI DETAIL CENTER in Redford, MI. Classic case of dealer induced swirls & factory contamination that pretty much every Mustang that comes out of Dearborn Assembly has. My old shop Manager Ted & I knocked this one out together.

We 1st gave the exterior and engine compartment a blasting from our pressure washer.

Then the exterior got treated with Ford’s Acid & Alkaline Neutralizer (ABC Wash) with Dawn being the final shampoo.

Once the paint was clean, everything got clayed with AM blue Clay Magic.

We insured that every square inch of the exterior was smooth and contaminant free before polishing. We used the cellophane from a pack of cigarettes to magnify any paintwork bumps.

All the cracks & crevices were blown out to avoid water run out while polishing.

We opted to do 3 Alcohol wipe downs instead of re-washing. This gave us enough assurance that the surface was free of polishing oil/residue to promote proper sealant bonding. We chose Zaino for all the protective duties. Multiple layers of ZFX’d Z5 & Z2 were applied.
