Per the usual MF washing procedure, each towel was inspected after they came out of the dryer. This step is sometimes (often) breezed through on my end, but after finding this thing snagged on a MF after a wash and dry a little more attention is a probably a good thing on my end. Lucky that this was caught since it was a jagged piece of hard plastic about 1/16" wide (it even hung on after "fluffing" the MF before inspection). No idea where it came from or how it ended up in the dryer, but thankfully it was caught before it saw any finish.
