Collinite 885 on top of NXT?

I have clayed (1 time) and waxed my vehicle (NXT 2.0) about 3 times over the last 4 months so I have a nice looking finish currently. I want to try Collinite 885 for the look and durability especially heading into fall and winter in New England.



Question:

For the best application and result, should I wash with Dawn stripping off all existing wax and then apply Collinite on an unwaxed surface or should I apply Collinite over the top of the NXT (last wax about 1 month ago)?

I think the Collinite would last longer if it were applied directly to the vehicle finish instead of on top of another LSP.

It will be fine if it has been washed. No need to dawn or anything else, spend the time to do two coats if you want.
