A buddy of mine just got a killer deal on these wheels, but the lip and inner barrels have some defects. I personally have no experience with polished metal, only chrome. I`m wondering what products you guys recommend to repair these. Here are some pictures as I know its almost impossible to help with out them.

All of the wheels look like this unfortunately.

Clear coat or chrome finish is failing.... don`t think you can polish it out.

Well I talked to him again today, and he had just assumed it was aluminum, but it turns out they`re chrome lips, and the finish is fading off. I guess he`s getting them dipped again.

Thanks for the insight guys,

Sean

looks like one of two things.....

1. the wheels are polished alumnium, but the lips are cleared in order to never need maintenance. the clear is peeling. sand all the clear off and leave it bare, or have it recleared

2. they are chrome and the chrome is peeling. here you have to have it rechromed

either case, you have something peeling and th
