Hi all,
I recently got a porter cable 7424xp, pinnacle XMT #3 and 1 and all the LC pads. When I first got this stuff, I detailed a hood of a really bad 1993 Camry and cleaned it up quite well.
Anyways, I have a Mazda 3 that`s a year old, paint is obviously still in decent condition but I do have a few swirls and scratches. Tonight I used the LC orange pad with Pinnacle #1 because the swirls and scratches are very minor, however, the pad did not at all remove the scratches.
Is it the pad? When I cleaned it, I soaked it in soap water for 15 min then scrubbed it.. did that ruin the pad that it now cannot cut properly?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
