Does Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell Wax Paste have any cleaners in it? I was wondering this because I am wanting to use it as a topper over another wax I already applied.

None that I`ve heard of. You should be ok.

I would not top NXT 2 with Turtle wax.

I can`t think of a single consumer product that claims layering does any good.

Make sure to post your results on the Turtle Wax Hard Shell stuff, my dad bought it and I`m curious as to how durable it is....

I guess I was wrong about it not having any cleaners in it..

According to Turtle wax`s site.

Super Hard Shell Car Wax:

Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell liquid and paste car wax products provide traditional clean, shine, and protection that Turtle Wax is famous for. It deep cleans any conventional and clear coat finish, removes surface stains, and contaminants that won`t come off with regular washing.

I`ve been using some Turtle wax the past few weeks. I put two coats on with a week in between, after washing and clay bar. The wax seems to be holding up better than I expected. Rain still beads after a week, with two or more rains in between. The surface doesn`t feel that great though. Feels rough and contaminated. I can post some pictures if people are interested.
