What an odd thread--with out of date info. David Bynon divested himself of his Autopia Car Care interest a year or more ago, as Aaron Krause did from Dedication to Detail.

I also thought Aaron Krause was still involved with EDGE even though it was purchased by 3M?

As I understand it 3M purchased Dedication to Detail and the Edge trademark. Aaron`s new company is Innovative Accessory Products, where he produces those former Edge products that 3M didn`t purchase, as well as anything new he might come up with. There is also some continuing relationship with 3M which may be temporary.

Werkstat is not Jeff`s last name, it is a german word that translates to garage or studio. Jeff`s last name is Brandt. For the longest time I assumed his last name was Werkstat also.

I`ve personally had conversations with Ron Ketcham, Mike Phillips, Mike Pennington and Dave Ghodoussi, plus via e-mail with Aaron Krause and Jeff Brandt. All of them are excellent representatives of the detailing industry. :)

I`m kind of miffed how the people from Clearkote, Four Star and CMA escaped this rogue`s gallery. Or Excel...or many others. What did it take to be selected by the Academy for this honor?



Setec...why are you getting miffed?? If you want to add a name do the list do it. I don`t think it was David`s intention to post the "only` names in detailing.
