As a result of a failed spray gun, in haste I sprayed the area I repaired with body filler with Duplicolor rattle-can primer to offer a small bit of protection. It sanded out ok, but my inexperience makes me question if the good catalyzed paint I will be applying soon will have trouble adhering to the cheaper primer. Any suggestions?

No, it`s not a good idea. There are catalyzed aerosol products.

Probably not the best but without a gun nor compressor...

These are fairly new to the market and durability is unknown.

Still, it`s a better than a 1k product.

What do you recommend I do next? Should I sand off the Dupli-Color primer and then put on a good primer? Or, can I put a good primer on top of the Dupli-Color primer?
