On a truck enthusiast forum I am on, there was a thread on how to clean your truck, etc. etc. I explained how I did mine. Then a member posts this:

" I Use Pantene Pro-V shampoo. Does a spectacular job. Puts nutrients back into the paint that the sun and whatnot strips off the paint"

I was like... are you kidding??

I love all of these nutrients that people think the paint needs.

Every morning I rub my paint with orange juice and milk. If the car is a little sluggish I might rub it with coffee or Mtn. Dew.

WOW, I wish I had known this valuable information with my other truck, towards the end it could have used a 5 hour energy drink.

He`s gotta be screwing with you.

The guys on the G8 board always talk about using pledge on their cars. And they`re serious.

Actually he is right to a point !

Pantene Pro-V is actually one of the worst shampoos for your hair since it contain alot of sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth which is surfactant wetting agent that helps in making up the lather. Lather is great as a froth that lifts grit and dirt from the paint so it doesn`t mar when you pass that wash mitt or microfiber. The feeding vitamins to the paint is BS, but it does help your hair and scalp though ! ...LoL

Just add a little hair shampoo to your car washing soap and foam gun and you will see it foam up like never before for an impressive show of foam heaven ! ..LoL

Some of the people on there are clueless. I try my best to help them, (I dont know everything,) but some of them are just dumb!

Well, Zymol is usually regarded as a very reputable company and they`ve been pushing this "feeding" concept for decades. People wash thier cars with all kinds of things...

I wonder how long after `feeding` my car that the nutrients either blow off, get rained off, or evaporate off.
