Hello all,

I have a 01` Ford Escape where almost half of the body is covered in that grey plastic that is porous and textured. I have waxed it before and any wax or polish that gets on it takes an act of freakin congress to get off.

After washing it, is there anything I can coat it with that will make the wax easily wiped off without a toothbrush and Simple green that will most likely kill the wax I just put on?

Or am I screwed and have to tape off everything before I do the work? Because, that is going to be quite a bit of tape.

Thanks to all

After reading past posts about this problem, I recently tried a suggestion of mineral oil on my Ford trim. Mineral oil work wonders on the trim removing the polish and I just washed it off and then treated with 303. I got tthe mineral oil at walgreens in the laxative section for 4 dollars.
