I just got back from a 1600 mile road trip. I took my wifes new Subaru on a trip to the Cherohala Skyway in TN and NC. We did the Dragon and Hellbendber 28 and after all of this when I arrived home there was were no marks on the front of the car, Before the trip I put on some Diamondite Bugblocker. This stuff is a thick liqiud, think pancake syrup, that is applied with a sponge. It looks a little like un-buffed wax but is ia lot thicker. You will notice it but most people wouldn`t.
It washes off easy with water, the instructions tell you to apply after driving in the rain.I`m not sure if I was I was just very lucky or if the Bugblocker really did a great job of protection but there were no marks on the front of the car, I will be using it again for any road trips in the future. Oh yeah there were a million bugs stuck to my front bumper.
