Whats the best method to remove water spots on glass? Also is there anything I can put on the glass to help it not water spot? Been a while since Ive been on here, but I seen someone talking about a water filter system that helps stop water spots, whats the name of that filtration system and where can I get one? thanks

How bad are the spots? Have you tried normal glass cleaner? Vinegar also breaks down calcium in hard water spots. You could also try an AIO.

I coat my glass with whatever lsp I put on my car. It has worked for me fine.

Also try giving it a go over with a clay bar lubed with a mild detergent like a wash/conditioner & warm water.

depending on how bad the waterspots are, try using clay and see where that gets you. you can also try using some polish with the PC (or foam applicator with some elbow grease)...

i have well water myself.. we have a softener, but the garden hose bypasses it, so the water i wash my car with pretty hard water. when normal glass cleaner wont work on water spots i use duragloss nu glass.. i reccomend it to anyone whenever this topic comes up... its the only glass polish ive tried, but it works so well, most of the time after just one use.

Thats what we have well water. It sucks, seen in an old thread that some use mothers chrome polish to get them off too. I will try jDizzles idea first thanks

i dont think its safe for tinted windows btw. if you have tinted windows then id just wait for one of the pros to chime in.. for non tinted windows, nuglass works great, i generally leave it on for 5-10 minutes...

Vinegar, CLR, Mothers chrome polish, etc - and they are some glass polishing kits, try doing a google on that.

I apologize if this has already been suggested, but I didn`t take the time to read the whole thread....

Vinegar and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works wonders on water spotted glass.

Zaino`s abrasive glass cleaner works wells, as well as just about any other abrasive car polish.

But if you don`t want to go for the abrasives, the vinegar and magic eraser works really well.

An old trick was to use steel wool. 000 or 0000. If you can deal with shedding it works wonders on glass.
