any ideas? its has been there for awhile, and now since i`m learning things around here might as well ask how to properly remove it.

By hand prefered...

You just need to get it CLEAN first and then go at it with your Polishin` Pal with orange pad and SSR2. Follow up with a less agressive pad/polish combo if ya got it. Probably won`t come out 100% but it will be improved.

It`s pretty hard to tell from the picture...sometimes you can polish something like that so that it`s undetectable, sometimes not. Usually there are some RIDS embedded in the scuff that will be left. That doesn`t look that bad, but it`s dirty and not all of the scuff is in focus.

Just do it already and see how it comes out! You can`t make it any worse (well, you can, but you`ll be good, won`t you? Clean it good first and just SSR2, no Turtle Wax rubbing compound, ok?)

yea hard to tell from the pic but it might just be some paint transfer

I would wash it the try a solvent (WD-40 might even work)

if that does not work then polish as above

also try claying before polishing it...

I can`t really tell from the picture, but I think you might be able to get it out. After cleaning it, try using a cleaner wax and some elbow grease to remove it...might take some effort but it may just do the trick. However, I may be wrong about this but I can`t really tell by the picture

Yes. A close up would help.

I`m guessing most of that will come out completely - it looks like paint transfer. The only part that may require extra attention is where you ran your fingers (it looks deeper there?).

Sealant is really the only thing that needs to cure.
