i noticed that some cars have a carbon fiber in thier interior.
to clean the surface is ok to use a diluted apc or would you need to take special care when cleaning?

Interior CF can be cared for the same as plastic. Just don`t try to put dressing on it, it wants a sealant (it`s clearcoated).

Most cars that have "carbon fiber" in the interior don`t actually have carbon fiber. It`s look alike garbage that is just like the rest of the plastic. It is highly unlikely that you will have to deal with much real carbon fiber on the interior of normal cars. The cars that have actual carbon fiber will be obvious because they will have Ferrari logos on them or something.

What tubafreak said is right on. If it is real carbon fiber then it is just clear coated. Care for it like you would care for any clear coated part of the interior. Meguiar`s Quik Interior Detailer comes to mind.

Yes, most cars have CF decals stuck onto their plastic. There are a lot of real CF kits out for just about any car though and those can be treated the same as a clearcoated paint job.

I like FK1 #425 on painted/clearcoated interior trim.
Meg`s QID works fine on pretty much anything.
