any thoughts on this? can this be done to clean up cars that arnt kept in good condition, aka the average joe`s car? I have used it will LC white pads with good results but it really doesnt offer to terribly much correction, will a PFW pad finish down well enough for a simple wash and wax job? All done with a rotary BTW. I have heard Meguiar`s D151 has a little more cut, is that more suited for jobs like this?

I would go with D151 that works great as a one step. NO. 80 can be used to as a one step.:2thumbs:

Poli-seal is a decent product for a one step AIO type product

However, PFW will not finish well enough for a one step. Heck, maybe it`s just me but most cars I can`t get a white pad on the rotary to finish well enough for my liking without following up with an additional polishing step.

Add optimum polish to the poli-seal. that will add a little cut. continue application via white pad.

PFW will not finish down well enough with any polish for a one step IMO. D151 on an orange pad would be an option. If you are getting hazing then D151 on a white pad. I believe D151 has the most cut of any of the AIO products. I have not personally used poli-seal but from reading here it seems to have about the same amount of cut as M66. D151 has a lot more cut than M66 no question.

are D151 and Poli Seal have similar corecting abbilities, or is 151 significantly more aggresive?

Well on my abrasives chart, 151 is a 4 and PS is a 2, and no one has objected to that.

In my experience, 151 is about the most aggressive AIO I have used, on par with 205. It finishes very nicely.

Do you mean #80 as a one step polish or as a polish and protection? It does very little in the protection arena.

Dont care too much for #80, so I wont use it regardless of the protection it provides :xyxthumbs

I was under the impression a PFW should finish down as well or better than an orange pad when used properly.

I don`t have a ton of experience with PFW yet...probably 6-8 cars with it. In my time with it I would say that it does finish down nicely for what it is. I would not say that it finishes out as nice as orange though. Again, I don`t have a ton of time with it yet so that may change....the best thing to do would be to travel with both and do test spots.

Lately I have been reading a few cases where people are using Orange/M205 to finish on tricky paint. I believe Accumulator had a post about it recently. I have not tried this. Nor have I tried PFW with a finishing polish or AIO. All my experience has been with M105 and PFW vs. M105 and LC Orange.
