Hello all, I`ve been reading some scary stuff concerning CG`s quality control but the threads were older and wanted to know if CG still has those types of problems.

I ask because I see they have 25x36 microfiber towel for $13 and so called "monster" mf`s 16x16 pack of 3 for $9.99

Are they really worth it? thanks!

I just received an order of

15 x MONSTER MICROFIBER EXTREME THICKNESS Microfiber Towel W/Black Silk Edges [16x16] (http://www.chemicalguys.com/MONSTER_MICROFIBER_JUMBO_ABSORBER_p/mic_1100_03.htm)

6 x FLUFFER MIRACLE SUPRA MICROFIBER TOWEL 24" x16" BLUE W/RED SILK BANDED EDGES (http://www.chemicalguys.com/MICROFIBER_TOWEL_MIRACLE_TOWEL_p/mic_998_6.htm)

They feel nice, however have quite a bit of lint so need to be inspected first and I made a mistake of pre-washing them with a pack of yellow MFs from costco - in warm water on gentle cycle using woolite the blue MFs transferred color onto the yellow MFs. So I guess you should first wash them separate. I just hope the blue color won`t keep transferring in subsequent washes.

Otherwise nice towels and a great deal for the $9.99 IMO.

I have 6 of the Monster towels from CG and they`re really nice, but do wash them first. They come with a nice amount of lint.

I also made then same mistake of washing them with some of my yellow MF towels, needless to say my yellow MF`s are now my light green MFs.

LOL, yes, light green, but unfortunately spotted light green on yellow on mine. :) Maybe I should wash them together one more time to make them evenly green :)

It makes color coding my MF towels for different uses that much easier :2thumbs:.

The MONSTER MICROFIBER EXTREME THICKNESS Microfiber Towel W/Black Silk Edges [16x16] (http://www.chemicalguys.com/MONSTER_MICROFIBER_JUMBO_ABSORBER_p/mic_1100_03.htm) are comparable to the Cobra Supreme 530 Microfiber Towel (http://www.autogeek.net/supreme-buff-microfiber-towel.html) which I have 3 of. The Cobra towels have a microfiber-covered hem instead of silk. I prefer the microfiber-covered hem. The Cobra towels seem a bit better quality, but the CG towels are about half the price. ;)
