Side Mirrors Cleaning Question

I have a 2006 Pontiac Torrent with plastic painted side mirrors housing.

After cleaning the car today I noticed a few little scuff marks from road debris on my side mirrors housing.

I am pretty sure the side mirrors housing are painted to match the colour (red) of my vehicle.

Is there anything I can use on the mirrors to remove or hide these marks?

I only tried some spray wax witch made them dissappear until they dried and then they were visable again.

If they`re clear coated just level it out. Megs scratchx 2.0 is very user friendly, can easily be found locally and is probably what you`re looking for.
