i am not a professional , i just detail my own cars......

I am thinking about re-applying my Z2 sealant .. couple of questions

Can you only apply zaino sealant during cool days? In texas here it is greater than 85 degrees most of the time now

I have been using a top layer of wax...I presume i need to remove the wax layer first? Do i do this with a "dawn" wash.. All my cars are in excellent shape so i am going to skip the clay bar as i have never done this

thanks

I would apply in the shade. The dawn wash is a good step for prep.

If you haven`t clay barred, try the `sandwich-baggy` test - take a clean new one and place your hand inside and gently stroke the paint in a few areas.

Now claybar a section (use lots of lube, do a small section at a time) and then do the sandwich-baggy trick once more.

Then tell me whether or not you need to use a claybar...

I agree, I think if you`ve never clayed the car you would be surprised how much contamination you will pull out ;)
