Well, I came across a mobile set up...just had a question. The set up was used for spraying weeds by a local electric company. It has a 200 Gal tank, a 5.5HP Honda engine, and a 680 psi water pump.

I got a really great deal on the set up, but now im a little concerned if 680 psi is going to be enough to detail cars. I really did not want to run high pressure out of fear of harming the finish while spraying off the car. IMO I don`t need 4000 psi to wash a vehicle.

As of right now, there is no wand on the set up, just the old hose. When I start it up and run water through it im only reading out about 200 PSI on the gauge. How would I get this up to about 5-600 psi? Change the pulley and belt I assume?

Just FYI, The tank has been cleaned out, the hoses will be replaced.

Any help/suggestions as to where I need to address my attention next is appriciated. Thanks in advance.
