I bought the car in March, but I was heavily into chemotherapy at that time, until about 3 weeks ago. EXTREME FATIGUE!

Now I feel like a 20-year-old again!!! So I spent a couple hours on the Firebird.....

The pic shows the products I used...

3M SMR
Zaino Z5
Zaino Z2 (x 2)
Zaino Z6 (not shown)

They`re called Detailer`s Best. Very soft, not very thick. But very cheap.
I have about 200 of them. They usually get demoted to wheels after a couple months, then engine bay after a couple more months.....

Would you believe 8 for $5.....(Wally World)

Thanks, Don..... You can`t believe the difference it makes after a couple weeks off the "poison".

Good job on the bird Bill, have always been wondering bout Z5, does it do anything to hide scratches? Did you use zfx?

I`m not convinced that Z5 hides scratches or swirls, but I do believe it adds to the depth of the shine. Didn`t use ZFX. I always apply the products when the temperature is in the 70`s, so cure time is 20 minutes tops, with or without ZFX.

3M SMR, however does an excellent job on scratches/swirls.....
