I have some P21s 100 on the way and I`m planning using it as a topper for a base coat of DG105 on Dark metallic blue. I haven`t used a nuba for years and was wondering what QD I should use with it. I curently use DG521 and aqua wax but I don`t know how those will react with the P21s.

I have like so many others have tried just about every QD out there and I keep coming back to FK425 or Z6. BTW my 2 best medium priced nuba`s are P21S 100% and Fuzion.

Agreed. Only QD`s I ever use are FK#425 and Z6. I have ONR, but only use it for door jambs, and clay lube.

mothers showtime is nice. and available pretty much everywhere... surf city garage`s QD`s are good too. lots of people(including myself ) seem to like the hot rod (the waxless one) i imagine the speed demon detailer would be better for a nuba due to its nuba content...

Clearkote`s Quik Shine is a great for Carnauba waxes.

I just used Sonus Carnauba Spritz last week on Pinnacle Souveran. I liked the look. Not too glossy. Seemed to "restore" the Souveran, if that is possible. Probably all in my imagination. Most important of all (at least to me), it didn`t streak. I think I will continue to use this after a car wash.

You consider QuikShine from Clearkote or Carnauba Gloss from JW, both work fine in maintaining the carnauba look.

The only one I know of specifically for `nubas is Jeff Werkstatt Carnauba Glos.

The best that I`ve tried for carnubas is Chemical Guys Pro Detailer. It`s cheap too ($23,00 per gallon).

I`ve had FK425 effect a solvent-action on 476S once...certainly surprised me but hey, it happened. Left some nasty pseudo-holograms.

My fave QDs for carnauba is still Griot`s SpeedShine.
