I just got some omp and was wondering what did you guys use to polish it. I don`t want to use mf so are there other alternatives? Terry cloth towel? Thanks

Terry cloth works great as does MF. Just keep or buy some dedicated MF`s for the application and removal.



On really bad stuff you can use it with 0000 steel wool. Works well on glass also.

sweet. Thanks for the advice. All my mf are one color so it`s harder for me.

Separate your MF`s in different totes boxes bags ect and label that.....that way you know if all are same color...

We have a few hundred yellow Micro Fibers for this and engines !

foam applicators may also work well too. easier to wash too, i think.

Foam will work but it`s best used for upkeep, as in sprucing up already polished metals.



For metals that need cleaning/polishing you`ll want to use some material with a bite. Terry cloth is a nice aggressive cloth as is MF but MF is best used in a dampened state.....MF is "activated" when wet.
