Hey guys,

Are there such products out there to help with dust contaminents to maybe help a black car remain a bit cleaner? I have a black car and no garage, I have a car port in the planing for the near future.

I heard a little bit about some "anti static" products that are suppose to be good dust repelants? Can someone recomend some good products to use? I also use a high quality car cover to keep it as clean as possible.

Is this a daily driver?

Zaino Z6 claims to... but I don`t think it works that well

I would be VERY interested in this as well. Somehow I think this will rule out most waxes. Maybe a sealant. Unless I`m wrong on that premise.

Z2pro is produced as a anti-static sealant.

Finish Kare #425 is very known for its good ability at anti-static.

No its not a daily, just a weekend/nice evening car.

One more thing I wanted to know is, if its safe for me to wipe the dust off with a high quality microfiber and a quick detailer? Is this safe? I did this last year and never caused major defects in the paint. Do you guys recomend this?

I would definately be interested too. I use Klasse twins but don`t see any manifestation of anti-static properties.

It sure would be nice as I keep my car parked outside most times and the pollen right now drives me crazy!

I think the act of application induces a static charge. I`ve been thinking of how one could eliminate or reverse the charge.

FK 425 does a good job

FK425 had a maximum of 2 days dust free when pollen was apparent in SoCal. This was on an outside car too ;)

FK 425 is a QD rite? Any over the counter products work good for this? Megs QD maybe?

Zaino and FK for sure. I suspect the other high end name brands have anti-static additives int he QD`s.

Indeed it would, but I dont have a garage to put it in so now I just have to make due with a custom cover and *fingers crossed* a carport soon.
