I like a very slightly glossy look (but prefer matte over truly shiny), and something that I could get locally (over the counter) would be great.

meguiars Natural Shine is usually available at walmart for around $5 will be a little more expensive at auto parts stores
that and the supreme shine are the only ones I have used

JHE888, knowing your location might help us to give you more specific guidance. Please put it in your profile. However, our local NAPA carries 303 Protectant which gives a nice matte finish.

I like the Megs 40 as well as the 303. The megs 40 actually is really nice under the hood as well.

For matte - 1Z Cockpit Premium is my favorite, for semi-matte finish I`ve found the "Armor All Semi-Matt Finish Protectant" gives it, however I`m a fan of full matt finishes :)
