That`s right! Only 51 Viper Coupes were made in the copperhead color you see here. This one has about 1000 miles on it and the owner simply wanted good protection.

I went with a light polishing of 106ff with a white lc pad on the rotary to removal the very minor swirling...this car was actually prepped well by the dealer! No need to clay bar either. The only major flaw with this car was the passenger`s side front panel. Some random deep scratching that wasn`t that deep at all...106ff took care of it with surprising ease.

After a prepsol wipedown we were going to get some Zaino, but we elected Collinite 476S for it`s warmer, richer look (in our opinion). The shine on this car was already "plasticy," and we wanted to deepen the shine. Moreover, we didn`t have the time to wait for the stuff to set, so 476S it was.

Wheels and glass were also treated to Klasse AIO.

What was a bummer was the fact that the sun wasn`t showing up much this day.

Before (the lack of sun and minimal swirls made it very difficult to capture:

More pics to come...I will say, after this detail, I`ve began to really like the LC white pad. Before this pad was very stiff and unstable, but it seems to have softened up to the point where you can really work in the polish well and smooth. It was a real pleasure detailing this beast.

Finally, I took some pics using the "slow synchro" mode...whatever that means:
