I have the following in my arsenal:

M105

M205

Z-PC

I`m looking for something with a medium cut...

Will I benefit from owning PB SSR2.5 or Menz SIP?

Thanks!

I hate PB polishes period but as far as SIP goes, I doubt you`ll get much benefit over using M105 with a less aggressive pad, something like LC white and/or green... SIP/orange is about as aggressive as M105/white imo, but M105 is so versatile and has too many variables to easily compare.

In short, I think you can get your medium cut with M105 or M205 and some `matching` pads... I would be more concerned about a finishing polish as I`ve heard M205 is fairly aggressive on the softer paints.

Hmm thanks for that. Gonna cancel my PBSSR2.5 order then.

Z-PC is a pretty good finishing polish IMO since its a diminishing abrasive.

Maybe I`ll replace my SSR2.5 with something else... maybe the 106FA but they don`t come in "sampler" size portions.

Damn the Menz 32oz sizes! I think I`ll try Menz products after my Zaino / Megs / PB stuff is out.

Look at this chart and see want you want out of your polish.

Menzerna Polishing Compounds Products, menzerna polishes, menzerna car polish, menzerna nano polish, menzerna final polish, menzerna compound, (http://autogeek.net/menzerna-of-germany.html)

^ Yeah I`ve been looking at abrasiveness charts all day.

I think I`m good with what I have (M105, M205, SSR2.5, ZPC).

Once I`m out of these, I`m definitely gonna try some SIP/IP and 106FA

you can always look at my abrasiveness chart! (If you havent already)

I, on the other hand, really have enjoyed PB SSR 2.5. It cuts well and finishes down pretty good with a white pad. Id say you already have a pretty good arsenal.

^ Very nice! Didn`t know you updated it. Last I checked, SSR2.5 had 2 ratings! :)

Thanks, thats very helpful. Excited to try it out... heard about its dusting issues though.

Hey now! It was in its infancy! :D

I have found that when using 2.5 with an orange pad, I get more dusting than with a white pad. If you work it too long, it will start to dry out and dust. I have never really had much of an issue dusting but others have.
