Hi,

I want to do a good job shampooing cars without having to by a carpet extractor $$$

i heard using spot shot, warm water and a nylon brush

i friend mentioned using degreaser and paint thinner will get anything out...but personally i think he`s crazy... beside the car would stink

what have you used that has yielded great results

please let me know

Their are a lot of otc interior products like Prestone, Turtle Wax ,Tuff Stuff, Blue Coral , all make spray foam type cleaners. There is Folex, Resolve , and my favorette a cup of ammonia to 1 gallon of water.

i like TUFF STUFF and RESOLVE for minor conditioning, spot removal. i use this generic shampoo i got from BMW which i got for free when we bought our cars. for all applications, i use a brush to work it in and then i use a shop wet/dry vac for removal. it seems to make it brand new again.

cleaners $4

shop wet/dry vac $30

I`ve been using Simple Green in my extractor. I spot treat 1st with

Folex, scrub where needed. It`s never looked better.
