I`ve only recently gotten more into detailing my two Porsches. The older of the two is a 5+ year old Cayenne, and the area behind the wheel is ugly.
I`ve painted the similarly ugly metal (after five years of having it detailed by third parties) caliper, but what about the tapered area beyond the wheel mounting location? Corroded metal just ain`t pretty, and I don`t recall the `like new` appearance. Buff it with compound? Paint it?
Your suggestions are welcome. TIA!
