Hi,

I went to Lowes today to pick up a hygrometer and while I was there decided I`d buy a few extra ProLine grout sponges. Unfortunately, they were gone... replaced with some orange tile sponges :( I also noticed that they are no longer listed on Lowes`s website. Were they discontinued? Is there any other place to get them? If they are really gone, what`s the next best thing... HD grout sponge?

Thanks,

-G

I, personally, don`t care for them. They don`t hold enough water for my taste. I usually use 8 to 10 MF`s. Lord knows, I`ve got a million of em......MF`s that is :shocked

Stopped by Loews about an hour ago, took a minute but I found a box of them in the isle with the mops. Picked up 5, just in case. Love these for ONR washes.

Since it`s a grout sponge, I looked near the grout supplies to find the sponge. There were some other grout sponges there, but nothing from ProLine. So I looked where the mops and other cleaning supplies are and found a few boxes of ProLine sponges. Whew! I wonder why they are no longer listed on Lowes`s website?

Yes that`s where they`re kept. I`m still using two from last summer and had 8-9 in reserve. After reading this post yesterday I looked in my supplies and found 2 - I keep giving them away to others! So....I headed to Lowe`s and bought 10 just in case (and will hopefully hold on to these!)
