i spent 5 evenings restoring the paint on my Jeep, it was absoutley horrible and im ashamed I let it get that bad. I started out with a hand wash and dry, claybar, and then moved onto the porter cable with a heavy cut, cleaner polish with light cut, machine glaze, and finally wax and buff. I also did the interior.

As you can see there were scratches, heavy to light and CRAZY SWIRLS!!!

I used a PC with orange white and grey pads with Meg`s Mirror Glaze products.

This was a my first time using the PC but i couldnt be happier with the results. Here are the before and after pictures!!!

Wow, good job correcting with your PC!

What was the cause of those aggressive looking scratches? bushes/tree branches??

Thanks guys!!

The cause of the scratches was that i was using a MF mitt which had one of those plastic tag attachers stuck within it.. i didnt find it untill a few washes.. dumb dumb dumb i know...

Process

Alrite i started off with a wash/dry

Clayed with Mothers kit

PC with orange pad and Meg`s #4 (i know its not the optimal choice but its the only one with a heavy cut that i could get local, ended up working good!)

Followed with white pad and meg`s 83

followed that with meg`s white pad and megs 3

meg`s gold class wax applied with pc and grey pad

removed by hand with MF towels.

Great correction mate!

There was a time I dreamed about a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I still think it`s a great car, and especially the SRT8:xyxthumbs!
