Hello all. I figured I would post here as there is so much knowledge that someone would have the answer. I have a Delco SR59 battery in my 69 GTO. Works great, but the top tends to stain even with water. I can`t find a way to keep it looking good. Everything I try only leaves a bigger mark or stain. Anyone experience anything like this? Thanks in advance.

why dont you just get a nice battery box to hide it ?

I think a QD or glass cleaner would be a better choice

because it is a period correct battery and the look of it is part of the fun

I did try 303 with no luck. Thought maybe a silicone based product, but still nothing. Never seen anything like this battery top.

Yes, the battery is period correct and goes for $200+ so really don`t want to hide it.

Thanks for all the good feedback though!!
