Z-AIO doesn`t seem to dry like Z-2 and Z-5. How long do you guys wait before wiping the excess off? How do you know it`s ready to be removed?

It should work differently than Z5 or Z2. It`s meant to be "worked" into the paint more to clean and prep the surface. Apply it, and remove it.

Directions say to allow it to dry. I just applied some last weekend on a cool day (high 50s) and I`d estimate I waited about 45 minutes. I`m sure it would be faster on a warm day.

Yeah, the directions said to allow it to dry, but they didn`t explain how you know it is dry unlike Z-2 and Z-5 where they describe in detail how it will smear if not fully dry...

Normally, I do the wash/polish/ZAIO, then head in for lunch. By the time I`ve finished lunch, the AIO is dried and ready to be wiped off. (About an hour or so)

The thing with ZAIO is, as Zane said, it needs to be worked, and you need to use very little. When you`re done working it in it should be basically gone, otherwise it`s going to be all smeary and tough to get off (IME...I used too much the first time).

When applying ZAIO by hand I use the same amount of product as I would applying Z2pro or Z5pro. Take your app and make a spaghetti noodle thin line of product from bottom left to top right. Next, fold app over so you have an x of product on the pad. I can get a few panels worth with that amount and it applies very thin. With that, I`m usually ready to remove in 10-15 minutes.

Working with a pc or rotary, I can usually remove in 5-10 minutes. Does it hurt to leave it on for longer? Not in my findings. I`ve left it on for an hour with no ill effects.

was working on a boat yesterday, and in 85 degree weather, the ZAIO was ready to come off in less than 10 min. I let it sit for 15, but it came off super easy.
