I am new to using Zaino, I will start the process this weekend. What do you think about my steps, anything to add or delete?

:waxing::)

2. Z18 clay and lube

3. Z7 car wash

4. Z-AIO

5. Z6

6. Z5 w. ZFX

7. Z6

8. Z2 w. ZFX

9. Z6

10. ZCS

11. Z8 the next day as my last step

Thanks!

If it was me, I would do a second layer of the Z5 or Z2 (so you have 3 ZFX`d layers on there...or 4 if you have leftover ;) ). I think the ZCS is really redundant in that regimen. IMO, you can maintain your base with ZCS or Z8 pretty much indefinitely, until it`s time to repolish. I dunno if it`s worth doing both the next day. Z8 is crazy slick but of course ZCS is a bit less work to apply, sort of. :)

very good point, i was thinking about doing more than one layer of z5 or z2, how long do i wait between zfx layers - can it be immediately?

As long as it`s dry...you know, swipe test. Usually if you start at one end by the time you`re done and take a breather for a couple minutes you can start wiping it off. At least that`s the way I remember it...I`ve been a little lazy of late and using the ZCS...

Good weekend to do it! Suppose to low 70`s and sunny. That`s why I have a golf trip to attend to!!! 5 rounds in 3 days.

Unfortunately I will be in Westerville at the range warming up for this weekend. Friday I have 2 rounds at Cumberland Golf Club and then saturday-sunday I am in Cleveland playing 2 other courses.

I would love to swing by sometime in the near future. :cool:

Z8 isn`t as much of a LSP as Z6. Z8 is more of a spray sealant. For ultimate gloss, Z6 should be the LSP. This is according to Zaino.
