hey everyone heres a little trick i learned on here and just want to share how well it works for me

My wifes brother bought this car for 900 bucks its a beater and i saw the headlights and decided to clean them up for him.

first wetsand in a back in forth motion using 2000 grit wetsandpaper. Sand in a back in forth motion. then using my cheap harbor frieght polisher i start slow and speed up to 2000 then for a final pass ramp up to 3000. using meguiars plasticx clear plastic cleaner and polish. I then do the same process using Menzerna sip. this is how it came out for me.

Wow. Very nice job. How long you been using the HF polisher? Have you used it for waxing the paint?

Wow, that came out great. I`m a little puzzled by your polishing steps tho...isn`t SIP more aggressive than PlastX?

thanks. I have had the HF polisher for about 2 and a half years now. But this is my second one. The first one i must have used on about 50 cars including my own. I was looking at getting a makita but i decided to give the HF one a try so i could learn with it first. Seems to work great for me so i just always use it now. maybe one day ill get a makita. but the first one the cord went bad. it would only work when you held the cord right. so just spent another 29 bucks and got another one.
