hey.. i really like seeing posts like this, so im assuming other peepl enjoy reading over them too, so if i post too many threads, or nobody else enjoys this stuff. speak up...plus it is just one more thread to help people looking for a good start with a DA like me... im pretty proud of how this car turned out, its like the 4th? car ive done with my PC, and it turned out great... the car is my buddys early 1990`s (not exactly sure) nissan 240 sx.. its dark red, complete with almost 20 years worth of swirls and scratches..

Here are some before pictures :

i know it didnt come out perfect.. but for an almost 20 year old car... only using lightly abrasive products.. it turned out well in my opinion.. the owner was absolutly thrilled.

i used a white polishing pad and meguiars #2 which gums up n dries up too fast to work well in my opinion... but it got the job done... follwed up with meguiars #9, which has always done a great job for me.. then i used #9 again with a grey finnishing pad.. i used swirl X on a couple sport that were extra hazy that #2 wouldnt take care of... after the prep work was finnished i just used collinite 845... on the roof and trunk (spray painted black hehe) i used 3m performance finnish.. all waxes were applied and removed by hand as always.

btw, this took about 4 and a half to 5 hours.. and it was a free job.. i wanted some practice, and ive been helping my friend with his motor swap (sr20) over the past couple months, finally done, so time to make it look nice.... i wanted some practice, and he wanted a shiny car. so we both won :-).. i wish i would have gotten some photos of his (freshly polished :-) )intercooler piping... perhaps next time im over there ill snap a few pics..

are you refering to the professional before and after area? i thought about putting this there, but then i kinda felt that... wait, im not a professional, ill post in the same thread i normally do.... any input on my process, as i`ve said, ive only done 4 or 5 cars, and im open to any suggestions, and appreciate any and all input... thanks again for reading /posting

No not the pro section ;) the actual C&B section. Not a bad job for only a few cars into this.
