For my exhaust pipe. The factory tubing on my ford is a low grade stainless. It`s very ruff but I think it can be polished out. Tese pics were taken after only wetsanding with 2000 and hitting it with M105 and the powerball. It still has some major pitting and other imperfections in it so I know i need to sand it with a little less grit and work back up. Which polish works the best for stainless?

I hear great stuff about Adams Metal Polish.. You are right about working your way up with the chain with the sand paper grits. I would try 400-600-800-1000-1200. I have seen 3M wetsanding paper in "variety packs" at wally world, autozone or advance auto. I think it would be ideal for your application, 2 sheets of each grade should get you thru the job.

Also, if you finish with 2000, the polishing will be easier.

Do the inside of the pipe about 3" inwards for a super clean look!
