I was out today and happened across this beauty, the Makita 9227C, I couldn`t help but add it to my collection. Now I am set with a PC and Makita 9227C.

Where is the best place to order pads for these two machines? I need to get set up for some correction work coming up.

Thanks in advance.

You can get pads most anywhere that sells detailing supplies, but my personal recommendations are DetailedImage.com, Autogeek.net, and Preoperautocare.com.

Thanks for your input folks! I am from Canada and have been looking at this site eShine Canada: Exterior Care, Buffers and Accesories (http://www.eshine.ca/products.php?cat=28) the prices seem reasonable.

Should I get the backing plate that comes with the 8" Lake Country pads or will the manufacturer supplied backing plate be good enough?
