Faded trim

I`m working on a jeep. The trim on the fender above the wheel well is faded. What to use. A restorer (Black Again) or a dye (Forever Black)?

Depends on how long you want it to last. If you want it to last I`d use a dye, a real dye though. Like a spray on plastic dye.

I think some parts stores will have plastic dye. What you`ll want to do is clean the area, use a dye / plastic primer, then the dye.

Autoguard sells a dye kit the works well, but is pricey for one vehicle.



Some people have used Krylon paint and said it lasts over a year, the thread is on here somewhere. Make sure you prep well.
