I had them on a BMW years back I always had them professionally cleaned at the dry cleaners....I then could keep them up for quite a while after that.....I have had a few cars with them and I tell the customer to do the same...To much at risk for me to mess them up trying to figure out how to clean them...if they get them done before you get the car them you can clean the seats and install them back on..I know the customer will be happy with the results.

Dave, won`t dry cleaning be too harsh for the sheepskin? (something about the removal of the `natural oil`- do correct me if I`m wrong  )
