I didnt have any sand paper otherwise I would have tried to wetsand. I also got the new wool pad and I wanted to see how it compared to the yellow cutting pad plus I was bored. So I decided to dehaze one of these headlights. They are pretty bad.

This is what I did:

Cleaned them with stoner invisible glass.

Did a pass with menzerna power gloss/LC yellow pad, that didn`t give me such good results so I tried the purple wool pad with no pad conditioner( I didnt burn the headlights)

I did a pass with that then I did a pass with white LC + 106FF and I finished with Menzerna FTG.

Now there really is a huge difference but I haven`t completely cleared the headlight. I just did one because I want to wetsand the other one and see how they compare. If I wet sand the other one will I have better results and what type of grit should I try? 1500 followed by 2000 grit?

Also should I just wet sand the one I already did and re polish it for better results?

I have a lot of people that want me to clear their headlights but I`m trying to experiment with various methods to see what results I`d get before I try other people`s cars.

Here are pics of the process.
