What ill effects can I expect from a paste carnauba that has frozen and thawed? Will it really effect its performance at all?

I`m thinking about pulling the trigger on the Fuzion that Autogeek has on sale right now. They said it was frozen in transport and I just don`t want to part with $100 if there`s a chance that its not gonna work to its potential. I guess I`ll give it a shot.

I have seen M16, M19, and NXT 2.0 paste go bad from freezing. The main characteristic is that you can see the solvent has seperated from the wax and the wax has become chunky.

You can fix it by boiling the wax using a double boiler setup and remixing the wax, but it`s best to return it.

Good info, I guess the question now is would Autogeek sell wax that was in that bad a shape?

I am sure there are several people on here who got that deal @AG

and I have not read anything bad about the wax....so I am sure you are fine

Good point Jim, I`ve never had anything but good things to say with Autogeek, so I guess I have no reason to doubt them.

I have 3 tubs of that frozen wax (Fuzion). I have used it on my cars with no problem it works just fine.

They actually say that it doesnt hurt the performance....i dont see a problem, you could argue with them for putting that if you feel it is bad..but then again you dont have anything to compare it to..you should be fine though, i wouldnt hesitate
